Team volunteers were dispatched to the location, and our casualty carers were able to stabilise the injury with splinting and to administer pain relief.
The casualty was transported by stretcher down the hill to a waiting team vehicle, and following further assessment of the injury, she was driven to the road-side. Friends were then able to transport her to hospital in Aberystwyth for further assessment and treatment.
Everyone was safely off the hill by 6:45 p.m.
