Shortly after 2:00 p.m. the Team was requested to assist in the ongoing rescue of an injured worker in the Dyfi Forest near Aberangell.

The man had been trapped for a number of hours, and the scene was already attended by Police, Ambulance, Fire and Rescue and the Air Ambulance helicopter was close-by. The Team was requested to assist with transportation of the man from difficult terrain, but in the event was able to be recovered by existing resources at the scene.

​The Team was stood down at around 4:00 p.m.

Shortly before 11;30 a.m., the Team received a request to assist the Welsh Ambulance Service in dealing with a walker who had fallen ill on Cader Idris.

The man was reported to be feeling unwell on the steps a few hundred metres above Minffordd. As the Team was pulling together information, it was reported that the casualty had managed to progress down the steps and had reached the car-park with assistance from his group. The intention was for the man to to be taken by friends to A&E for further assessment.

At 3:45 p.m., call-handlers from the Team received notification from Brecon Mountain Rescue Team of a man reported to be in difficulty in Borth Bog.

The 73 year old man had been taking photos of the sunset but had slipped into the boggy margins of one of the many pools in the marshland, sustaining a suspected hip injury in the process.

The man phoned his wife who had located him but could not retrieve him out of the water on her own. She phoned some friends and together they had managed to get him out by the time the first Team volunteers arrived on scene. He had been in the water for approximately 45 minutes, was cold and in some considerable pain.

The Team's casualty-carers performed initial treatment and were promptly joined by HM Coast-Guard Borth, along with crews from the Welsh Ambulance Service and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue service. 

The man was stabilised and carried to a waiting ambulance for transportation to Bronglais Hospital Aberystwyth for further assessment and treatment. 

Team stood down at 5:20 p.m.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m.  Team call-handlers received notification of an injured man on Cader Idris.

Whilst descending the Minffordd Steps back to the carpark, the man had stumbled and sustained an ankle injury that prevented him continuing. A passing walker encountered the injured man and raised the alarm when he encountered a phone signal lower down the mountain.

With a Welsh Ambulance Service Paramedic already on scene and providing initial treatment, Team volunteers were dispatched to the incident site with further equipment.

The man was prepared for transport and carried down the hill to the waiting ambulance before being taken to Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth, for further assessment and treatment.

Everyone was safely off the hill by 6:00pm
