At approximately 8:45pm on 22nd July, the team received a request to provide assistance to lost walkers on Cadair Idris. The pair had become lost and disoriented having strayed from the obvious paths. Finding themselves unsure of their surroundings and with failing light they called for assistance.
Using PhoneFind technology, team call handlers were able to get an accurate location for the walkers.
Giving instruction and directions the pair's progress was monitored via team mapping until they made it back to the main road to be met by one of our team vehicles.
