Shortly before 12;30 p.m., call-handlers were made aware of an injured woman at Dolgoch falls near Tywyn.
The woman had slipped on rocks and fallen heavily injuring her back. Unable to walk and in considerable pain, she also started to cool quickly.
Team volunteers were able to reach her quickly and started providing pain relief. The woman was prepared for transport and carried down the hill to the road-side by stretcher.
A Welsh Ambulance Service team picked up the woman and took her to Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth, for further assessment and treatment
