Shortly after 5:30 p.m., Team call-handlers were made aware of two walkers lost on Cader Idris.
The two women and a dog had been attempting a circular walk around the mountain, but had become disorientated in the dark and found themselves lost above steep ground. Using Phonefind protocols, their position was established as being on Gau graig summit above the crags of Tal y Llyn pass.
Parties of Team volunteers were dispatched to reach the walkers, who were cold but otherwise uninjured, and the group was escorted down through the crags to safety.
Everyone was off the hill by 8:45 p.m.
