Shortly before 4:45 p.m., call-handlers from the Team were made aware of three adults lost and benighted on Cader Idris.
Following a navigational error, the party had come down the wrong side of the mountain and whilst trying to resolve their issue had run out of daylight. Recognising their plight they called for mountain rescue assistance.
Using smart-phone protocols, the Team was quickly able to locate the party, and with the Team on standby, they were given instructions on how to proceed down off the mountain. Regular checks on position meant that their progress could be monitored, and a taxi was arranged to meet them off the hill and transport them to their car on the other side of the mountain.
