shortly after 6pm, we were called out after a 19-year-old walker failed to return from a hike up Cadair Idris and Mynydd Moel.
Thankfully, the walker was found safe an hour later at a nearby hotel, having been helped by kind passers-by. They were cold, wet, and had sustained a head injury. Our trained medical technicians assessed them to ensure they were okay. However, we couldn’t stand down immediately, as the walker’s grandfather had also gone onto the hill to search for them and was out of contact. We’re pleased to report that he too was found safe shortly afterwards, and everyone was off the hill by 8pm.
