Shortly before 7:00 p.m., Call-Handlers from the Team were made aware of an overdue walker on Cader Idris.
The man had been walking with his father on the mountain during the day. At around 1:30 p.m. the father had decided to turn back to the car whilst the son opted to carry on with his walk.
As darkness fell, and there was still no sign of the son back at the car-park, the alarm was raised.
As Team volunteers started to check likely alternative routes down from the mountain, news came through that the man had been located and the Team was stood down just before 8:00 p.m.
