The woman, whose walking companion had continued on without her, lost confidence in the poor weather conditions and was scared she would come to harm if she proceeded.
Using smart-phone location protocols, the Team was able to establish her position on the Pony Path, and give encouragement that she was indeed on the correct path. As she made her way along the route, a small hill-party of Team volunteers headed up the mountain from Ty Nant to meet up and escort her down off the mountain.
Everyone was safely down at the carpark by 4:30 p.m.
